Safety-Based Optimization Model for Highway Horizontal Alignment Design

چکیده

The construction cost and crash of the highway are contradictory, but there is an optimal balance between them. This study focused on best point by microadjusting alignment design using optimization theory. A multiobjective method was proposed to optimize horizontal considering economy safety. model includes three main objective functions which economic function, safety position constraint function. Constraints were established for following corresponding specifications, such as constraints elements in unit, continuous adjacent alignments, location alignment, speed coordination. Two scenarios considered verify effect model. One scenario intermediate control points, other does not. In addition, two cases analyzed. a unit. Another one segment including four units. parallel genetic algorithm used solve Case results indicate that could help improve economics highways. reduce much more redundant debugging work designer influence designer’s subjectivity.
